Serve The Servants - Nirvana (In Utero)
Come Home - Placebo (Placebo) - this one is for for the era it reminds me of though....

1. metallica - hit the lights (kill em all)
an older kid than me was disgusted to learn that I had only heard the black album. He dragged me back to his house after school to show me this album. The opening tracks's fade in and million mile riffs floored a young bogan Boris.
2. shellac - my black ass (at action park)
Probably one of my favourite rock songs ever. It opens with a little squeaking noise of Steve Albini sliding his hand down the fretboard, before the first riff. awesome.
3. atari teenage riot - get up while you can (the future of war)
I listened to this at Dada's and after the snare roll and screams preceded the gabber kicks, thought "fuck yeah" and bought it.
4. brujeria - pito wilson (raza odiada)
Tyron and I were into our first cone and laughing our arses off at Jello's intro when that riff made us stop laughing and concentrate on it.
5. daisy chainsaw - I feel insane (eleventeen)
It's Katie Jane Garside's girly grunting noise before the smashing drum intro that does it for me.
